Windows 11 Sun Valley 2 to be finalized by summer

Windows 11 is turning one year old on July 11, 2022. And will give Microsoft users an anniversary gift. A new feature update with a long list of much-needed improvements. The update is apparently codenamed “Sun Valley 2” internally. And is set to be similar to the Windows 10 Annual Update. Windows 11 Sun Valley 2 is to be finalized.

Sun Valley 2 or version 22H2 will be a version of Windows 11. With some significant improvements to make it faster. smoother and more modern and to integrate WinUI more closely. With the rest of the operating system. For example, a new Windows Run with Dark Mode may appear in this release. We are also hoping for new native apps.

The most obvious improvement would be the drag-and-drop support for the taskbar. As you may know, the modern or “redesigned” taskbar probably lacks many key features. Such as the worst changes to Microsoft’s new operating system, drag, and drop, or right-click. We’ll probably see the Taskbar drag-and-drop feature in upcoming Dave Channel preview builds. What to expect in Windows 11 Sun Valley 2

As we mentioned earlier, Microsoft plans to upgrade the Start menu to Windows 11 version 22H2 with new customization options. You’ll be able to pin more apps or recommendations in the beginning.

Support for third party widgets

Windows 11 now comes with support for integrated widgets – such as Microsoft To-Do. Microsoft Weather, News, and Interest News Feed that are already in Windows 10.

A full range of third-party widgets may be available for Windows 11 as part of the 22H2 “Sun Valley 2” version. The theory is that third-party widget support will be provided through a new API. That will be included in new OS updates. With some companies already working on their own widgets.

It may bring back what we had in Windows Vista – third-party desktop gadgets. But these widgets will be part of the widget panel, at least for now.
